Nigella Oil Acne-Fighting Mask with: Nigella oil, Green Tea, and Oatmeal

Purpose:

This acne-fighting mask combines the anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties of Nigella oil, the antioxidant power of green tea, and the soothing effects of oatmeal to help reduce acne breakouts and calm irritated skin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Fatima’s Garden Nigella oil
  • 1 tablespoon brewed green tea, cooled
  • 3 tablespoons finely ground oatmeal

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the Nigella oil, cooled green tea, and finely ground oatmeal. Mix until you achieve a smooth, spreadable paste.
  2. Cleanse your face using a gentle cleanser like Fatima’s Garden Black Beldi Soap or remove makeup with Fatima’s Garden Makeup Remover. Pat your skin dry.
  3. Apply the mask evenly to your face, focusing on acne-prone areas, and avoiding the eye area. You can use a brush or your fingers to apply the mask.
  4. Allow the mask to sit on your skin for 15-20 minutes, giving the ingredients time to work on reducing inflammation and fighting acne-causing bacteria.
  5. Rinse the mask off with lukewarm water, gently massaging your skin in circular motions as you rinse.
  6. Pat your skin dry and follow up with a toner, such as Fatima’s Garden Lavender Water, Orange Blossom Water, or Rose Water, and a light moisturizer like Fatima’s Garden Argan Oil.

Recommended use:

Use the Nigella Oil Acne-Fighting Mask once or twice a week, depending on the severity of your acne and skin sensitivity, for best results.
