What is prickly pear seed oil?

How to recognize a Quality Prickly Pear Seed Oil?

When you have a product with such a high price, you can always expect some counterfeits to appear on the market …

We must therefore pay attention to several things:

Make sure you buy good vegetable oil and not the oily macerate pear flowers of prickly pear (it absolutely does not have the same properties nor the same effectiveness) Check that the product name is indeed Prickly Pear Seed Oil.
Check if the oil you are buying is indeed pure : Some suppliers cut their prickly pear seed oil with another much cheaper oil. In that case, the effects desired from this oil will not be met nor obtained.
Take a good look at the “ingredients” section of the product label. (if you see a different mention than “OPUNTIA FICUS-INDICA SEED OIL” then beware! This botanical name must appear on its own to be sure that it is only prickly pear seed oil and nothing more.
Check the appearance of the vegetable oil: A sign of good quality is that it should have a liquid, fluid appearance with a yellow to green color. Its smell is slightly spicy and pungent.
